The 100 Property Club Sailing Day adventurers set sail for Cowes on 23rd September. A full safety briefing was given by our skipper during breakfast (apologies for the croissant crumbs on deck). The rain eased as we left Port Hamble Marina and the intrepid sailors headed out towards the waters of the Solent. With two novices on board, we soon had them hoisting the mainsail and happily winching away! A cheeky half at the Anchor in Cowes was followed by a delicious lunch at The Island Sailing Club.
Huge thanks to Jeremy Needs for organising the day. If any members are interested in attending the best day of the club’s event calendar, please contact Nicola Forgette .
