Dear loyal members,

I wanted to say a massive thank you to all those members and their guests who joined us for an amazing evening on the 6th December, for our Christmas Dinner.

We are delighted to confirm that we raised circa £34,000 at the 100 Property Club Christmas Dinner.  This will be split between two outstanding charities, Lords Taverners and Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.  Given we had 250 members and guests in the room, not 300+, this is a superb achievement, for such good causes.

Throughout the evening, we posted a large number photographs on our Twitter, the 100 Property Club Website and my LinkedIn page.  Please feel free to share the pages, ‘like’ or retweet the articles.

At our dinner, I stressed that we are presented with odd surprises in life and whatever our personal political stance given the events of 2016, we have a fantastic country, proven resilience and the ability to weather storms if difficult times arise.  We must show commitment to each other and those we work with, live by a core set of values and be positive.

When I took over as Chairman in June, I stated that it was my intention to ensure that we stay true to the values as a social networking Club, coming together with an aim to raise money for local charities. In meeting this aim, this is testament to the quality and commitment of our membership and members alike.

We have listened to you, our members, and have sought to continuously improve our respected club. At the dinner on the 6th December we increased the networking time, we have undertaken several technical tours over the last year, continued the London and Provisional lunches whilst linking with the WSA in Surrey, in particular the CPD events.

We are keen to evolve and will be speaking to many of you throughout the year to seek your views about the club and how we can improve. We are always welcoming new members, and heard from a large number of guests at the Christmas Dinner who would be interested in joining, which is a very positive end of the year.

Lastly, I would like to say thank you for your support during 2016, and all our Best Wishes for 2017.

Kind regards
